There used to be 20 albums / galleries on this website but I've begun to edit them down a bit hence the missing numbers. I'm going to attempt to stay more up to date with my work on here and add and remove images more frequently. We shall see. The photographs on this site go back in places to 1984 when I first started taking pictures and using a darkroom. Everywhere I've lived and visited I've photographed and so by virtue of time passing some of these pictures have taken on special significance to me. I no longer have any of the negatives so I'm working with the scans I made some time ago, which for the most part are okay. The reasons for the vanishing negatives is a story requiring time and beer, neither of which I have presently. I'm always interested in people's opinions, good and bad. I'm not a very contemporary photographer taking massive HDR files with full frame cameras, I like the noise and the grain that small sensors give and I worry a lot less about breaking things when they haven't cost much. That said I do own some nice cameras and over the years I've been lucky enough to own some brilliant cameras like Contax and Leica but you'd have to go some way to beat my old Pentax K1000.
